Roy Keane predicts Premier League title winner with Liverpool and Man City in the mix

Roy Keane reckons Liverpool's name is already on the Premier League title after Man City's capitulation against Leicester City.

Pep Guardiola's side were trounced 5-2 at home against the Foxes, despite taking the lead in just the fourth minute through Riyad Mahrez.

Former Man United captain Keane is confident Guardiola will see out the remainder of his contract at the Etihad, which expires in 2021.

But the Irishman has suggested a change in personnel in the City dressing room next season may be the order of the day, as he doesn't believe Liverpool will be caught this campaign.

"I still think Pep will get to the end of his contract," Keane said on Sky Sports. "I still think it's amazing that we're even questioning where City are at.

"But I think the signs in the last week... I still think they're getting over the loss of Kompany. We can't appreciate what a loss he was to that football club.

"Obviously we all saw him at weekends but I think what the guy probably used to do during the week, he was such a big leader for them, no doubt a big character.

"What I saw yesterday, a lack of leadership, lack of characters. Okay Leicester are a very good team and they're good going forward and huge credit to them.

"They talk about Pep obviously being a high-intensity type of guy, it's his fifth year at the club, and sometimes maybe players, and it sounds crazy to say it, but sometimes get fed up with the same voice, it's just the nature of the modern footballer.

"What I saw yesterday, I couldn't believe what I was watching. This new signing or somebody else this week could come in and do well.

"[But] in terms of City closing the gap on Liverpool - forget about it. I can't see it."
