Roy Keane has praised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's decision to start Mason Greenwood for Manchester United's hosting of Burnley.
United made five changes for the welcome of relegation-threatened Burnley to Old Trafford, with Greenwood among those coming into the side.
Greenwood came off the bench to score and register an assist against Tottenham last time out and has scored in back-to-back Premier League matches.
The decision means that Edinson Cavani, who has his future still under doubt heading into the final months of his deal, has to settle for a spot on the bench but Keane believes the selection of Greenwood was the right call.
"I think so because he came off the bench last week and had a big impact. He’s had a difficult year this year, he was never going to back up the goals he scored in his first season," he told Sky Sports.
"But he’s still a kid, delighted to see him playing and he’s had a difficult time off-the-field. Everyone keeps saying, even people at Manchester United, that he’s the best finisher at the club, but you have to remember what age he is, he’s learning his trade.
"We saw his quality last week, brilliant delivery and he scored. Really good young player.”
Manchester United can pull eight points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City with a victory against Burnley, with just six matches to go.
City have not been in Premier League action this weekend due to their FA Cup semi-final exploits, with Pep Guardiola's side losing to Chelsea.
