Roy Keane notices reaction from Liverpool players and comments on dressing room mood

Roy Keane could sense the relief coming from the Liverpool players after their 2-0 victory over Premier League basement boys Sheffield United on Sunday.

The champions went into the match having lost three league matches on the bounce, and with confidence at an all-time low.

The Blades managed to keep Mohamed Salah and co. at bay in the first half as pressure started to mount on Liverpool's goalscorers.

But eventually a breakthrough came for Liverpool on the 48-minute mark, with young English midfielder Curtis Jones firing the away side ahead.

A Kean Bryan own goal a quarter of an hour later secured the points for Liverpool, who were noticeably delighted come the final whistle.

"You look at the reaction of the players after the game. A lot of relief a lot of smiles," said Roy Keane on Sky Sports.

"The manager was on the pitch, they were all hugging each other, the subs. It's the best feeling in the world when you win a game.

"They've won a lot of trophies over the last few years, but that will mean a lot to them.

"I guarantee they'll be a great atmosphere in that dressing room and it makes the manager's job a lot easier in terms of trying to pick them up."
