Roy Keane names and shames the "problem players" Mikel Arteta has on his hands at Arsenal

Roy Keane has named three "problem players" Mikel Arteta has on his hands at Arsenal.

According to the Manchester United legend, there are question marks over David Luiz, Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding - particularly the former who "still has that mistake in him."

Arsenal were beaten 3-1 by Liverpool on Monday night, after taking the lead through France international Alexandre Lacazette.

The Gunners capitalised on an Andy Robertson mistake to score, but the goal kick-started Liverpool's fight-back.

Sadio Mane drew the scores level for the home side before Robertson atoned for his previous error by putting the Reds ahead. New signing Diogo Jota secured the points late on.

Discussing Arsenal after the match, Keane said on Sky Sports: "There's no getting away from that but he will still want some improvement. His hands are tied which is a big problem because he still needs a couple more players in.

"We saw again tonight that defensively – I still think David Luiz, Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding, there's big question marks over them. Luiz still has that mistake in him."

Arsenal boss Arteta was a lot happier with the way in which his side competed against the Reds, although admitted they are currently a class apart.

"We were in it for a big part of the game," said Arteta. "The reality is they are superior to us in many aspects. You could see that in some phases.

"I'm really happy in the way the team competed and kept believing. This is the standard we have to reach. We are on a different journey. They've been together five years, we've had a few months. We have a long way to go in many things."
