Roy Keane makes Chelsea vs Manchester United prediction

Roy Keane has backed Manchester United to score one or two goals against Chelsea this afternoon.

United make the trip to Stamford Bridge looking to vastly improve their record against the 'Big Six' in the Premier League this season, having scored just one goal in league games against Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea so far in the campaign.

That goal - a Bruno Fernandes penalty - came in a 6-1 defeat to Spurs, with United failing to score in the Premier League against their other 'Big Six' rivals.

Chelsea have improved under new manager Thomas Tuchel and haven't lost since the German was appointed in late January.

Yet Keane believes the game against Chelsea represents a good opportunity for the Reds to improve their record against the Premier League's best sides.

Speaking pre-match on Sky Sports, the former United midfielder backed his old side to cause Chelsea problems.

"I think it’s a good game for United today going to Chelsea," Keane said. "OK, there’s been some sort of reaction from the Chelsea players because of the new manager, particularly out of possession there’s more intensity, but I don’t think they’ve had a test yet like what United will offer them today going forward.

"I think the attacking players for United will look at the defence of Chelsea and fancy it. There’s still question marks over United at the back, but every time I watch United play I think they’ve got at least two goals in them, so you fancy them to score one or two today."
