Roy Keane lets rip at Liverpool and Manchester United's players for tunnel interaction

Roy Keane was left furious with players from both Manchester United and Liverpool before their game at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The game hadn't even kicked off when the former United skipper let rip over the conduct of the two teams.

But surprisingly, and unlike in previous United vs Liverpool battles in which Keane featured, the former midfield enforcer was left angered by the amount of hugging and chatting that was going on in the tunnel.

Keane believes both sets of players should have been 'preparing for war' not having a relaxed chat with one another ahead of the huge game.

"I'm disgusted with players [scenes in the tunnel]. You're going to war, they're hugging and kissing," Keane said on Sky Sports.

"Don't even look at the opposition. You're going into battle against them.

"The game hasn't changed that much, the players have changed. You're going to war against these players and they're hugging each other.

"Chat to them after the game, or don't even chat to them after the game."

Liverpool, despite being heavy favourites before the game, were forced to settle for a point after Adam Lallana 's late strike cancelled out Marcus Rashford's controversial first half opener.

Rashford's goal was only given following a VAR review, with replays suggesting that Divock Origi was fouled by Victor Lindelof in the build-up.

The draw leaves Jurgen Klopp 's side six points clear at the top of the table.
