Roy Keane lays into Nicolas Pepe and says Bukayo Saka looks more like a £72m forward

Roy Keane took aim at Nicolas Pepe's "poor body language" in Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Manchester United, saying the forward needs to do a lot more.

The Gunners splashed out a club-record £72million to sign Pepe from Lille in the summer transfer window, but so far he has done little to justify his price tag.

Pepe was largely ineffective at Old Trafford, while academy product Bukayo Saka made the most of the limited chances that came his way.

The forward was eventually taken off and replaced with Reiss Nelson on the 74th minute and Keane says he wants to see a lot more from the Ivorian in the coming weeks.

"Disappointed really with him, since he's come to the club he's not had great body language," said Keane on Sky Sports.

"We make excuses for players a lot, it takes time to settle into a club.

"But you see this young kid tonight [Saka], Pepe compared to him for the money they paid he needs to do a lot more.

"His work rate, his lack of quality, end product, but again it's his body language. He didn't put up a fight tonight."
