Roy Keane delivers classic opinion on Billy Gilmour and Chelsea duo tunnel chat

Roy Keane had the most Roy Keane response to the Wembley tunnel chat between Billy Gilmour, Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell.

England duo Mount and Chilwell have been forced to enter 10 days' isolation after being deemed close contacts of Covid-hit Scotland midfielder Gilmour.

The Chelsea trio were said to have chatted for over 20 minutes following the goalless Euro 2020 draw in London on Friday.

Gilmour's positive test sent the England camp into a spin with Chilwell and Mount - who both tested negative - now resigned to a spell on the sidelines.

Keane, speaking on ITV, was not impressed by the chit-chat between the Chelsea players.

He said: "The only thing I'd be critical of is why would you want to speak to an opposition player - and I don't care if he's your team-mate - for over 20 minutes?

"I very rarely speak to anyone for over five minutes.

"After a game when you've just went to war with somebody, why would you want to chat to somebody for that long?

"They could've used more common sense."

When presenter Mark Pougatch then asked Keane if he affords his wife more than five minutes of his time.

"Never," came the response from the Corkman.
