Roy Keane accuses Jose Mourinho of 'playing games' after Tottenham's draw with Chelsea

Roy Keane has accused Jose Mourinho of 'playing games' after Tottenham Hotspur's goalless draw with Chelsea on Sunday.

Spurs battled out a draw at Stamford Bridge, keeping a clean sheet against a near free-scoring Chelsea side to return to the top of the Premier League table, above Liverpool on goal difference.

But despite the positive result, Mourinho claimed after the game that his dressing room was one of disappointment, the Portuguese boss saying his players were unhappy not to win.

But Manchester United legend turned Sky Sports pundit Keane was having none of it, suggesting Mourinho was 'playing games' with his claims of disappointment.

“They’ve had some really good results, but I don’t think their form has been that brilliant," Keane said of Tottenham after the game.

He added: "They’ve still had the odd blip here and there. Slipping at home to Newcastle and West Ham, so there were no surprises what we saw from Spurs today.

"Spurs depend a lot on Kane and he was quiet today. Jose said there that the players were disappointed in the changing room, they should be delighted.

"This is the same team that finished sixth last year and celebrated on the pitch like they’d won the league and Jose was running down the tunnel. He’s playing games with that. He’ll be delighted with that point.”

Spurs are now unbeaten in six league games as they prepare for the North London Derby with Arsenal next weekend when they will be hoping to maintain their table-topping pace during this tough run of fixtures.

Before then, however, they are back in Europa League action, taking on LASK away from home on Thursday with a chance to wrap up qualification for the knockout stage with a game to spare.
