Roy Keane absolutely rips into one Spurs player after 'car crash' display against Liverpool

Roy Keane has slammed Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier as a 'disaster' after he gave away the penalty that cost Spurs in their 2-1 defeat to Liverpool.

Spurs had led 1-0 through Harry Kane after one minute as he headed in from close range.

Liverpool pulled level through Jordan Henderson with 52 minutes on the clock.

Sadio Mane's run into the penalty area was stopped by Aurier who gave away the spot kick to allow Mohamed Salah to slam home and earn his side three points.

Keane wasn't holding back in his criticism of the Spurs defending, as told Sky Sports: "There are huge question marks over Tottenham's full-backs.

"If you compare them to Liverpool's full-backs...

"Aurier is a car crash. You almost felt five seconds before he's done it that got himself out of position, he's done well to get back.

"Now you're thinking just relax, show a little bit of composure, you'd gone great there and then it's madness. You have to know the players you are up against.

"He knew exactly what was going to happen. We knew in the studio five seconds before it happened. This full-back is a disaster."
