Roy Hodgson confessed Wilfried Zaha could be about to say goodbye to Crystal Palace after admitting he is "so set on leaving".
The Eagles winger has long been linked with a move away from Selhurst Park but his side have often dug their heels in despite the player handing in transfer requests.
Arsenal and Everton were both interested last summer but were unable to meet Palace's huge price tag.
Zaha has been his side's leading light for several years after rejoining from an underwhelming stint at Manchester United.
But at the age of 27 the academy graduate is now keen on a new challenge and Hodgson admitted after their draw with Tottenham that he can't make Zaha "like us".
He said: "It's obviously affected him because his form in the last few weeks has really been quite poor considering what he is capable of doing.
"It's a dilemma for the club and a dilemma for him if he is so set on leaving. If he feels he just does not want to be with us any more, that would be sad.
"We still like him very much; we can't make him like us. This is a situation that only he and the club can sort out. I don't have an answer."
Zaha only managed four Premier League goals this term with his drop off clear for all to see after he was unable to secure a move last summer.

It was his lowest total for four years having hit double figures the season prior.
All in all the winger has scored 57 times for the club he joined as a 12-year-old.
But Zaha has ambitions to play in the Champions League - something Palace won't be able to offer him.
He has previously been linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund and they could reignite their interest if Jadon Sancho moves on this summer.
