Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham have both returned to training ahead of Crystal Palace's trip to face Manchester United this weekend.
The Eagles make the trip to Old Trafford on Saturday as they look to bounce back from their Carabao Cup exit at the hands of AFC Bournemouth, after losing out on penalties at the Vitality Stadium.
Palace did, however, make a positive start to the new Premier League campaign, winning 1-0 against Southampton at Selhurst Park last weekend.
The Eagles did so without eight members of the first team squad, with five senior defenders among those out through injury.
But ahead of the trip to Manchester, Palace boss Roy Hodgson has confirmed that some players are now returning to training.
"We're starting to get players back," he said, speaking at his pre-match press conference.
"Mamadou Sakho is the latest of course. Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham took part today - though Connor's is more modified.
"We are hoping that Jairo [Riedewald] will train tomorrow having recovered from injury.
"In terms of fitness, we're in a much healthier position, but we're still without plenty of players."
However, he has suggested that some of those players won't be ready to face United, with Hodgson hinting at when Christian Benteke could return to action for Palace.
"You can't get players back in training for one day after missing months," he said.
"We're talking about a highly competitive game and players who will need to show a consistent period of training that they're ready. One or two sessions doesn't do that.
"We'll see how Christian comes through tomorrow, we might get him some U23 minutes on Monday.
"We have players who are technically back but still have a lot to do before I or they believe they are ready for 90 minutes of Premier League football."
