Roxanne Pallett is loved-up with husband Jason after starting new life in New York

Roxanne Pallett looks completely loved-up with her American husband Jason Carrion after starting a new life abroad following her Celebrity Big Brother ‘punchgate' scandal.

The actress secretly married New York firefighter Jason last January, and relocated to the States to be with him after a whirlwind six-month romance.

Roxanne, 38, looked happy and carefree as she was papped gazing adoringly at her beau as they took a stroll through the city together.

The former Emmerdale star sparked national outcry in 2018 when, during her stay in the CBB compound, she claimed that Ryan Thomas had deliberately punched her.

However, footage from the incident proved that wasn’t the case, with Ryan seen to clip her when he was playing around, before immediately apologising.

The incident, which caused days of fallout within the house and thousands of Ofcom complaints, left Roxanne cast out of UK celebrity life.

Ryan was later crowned winner of the series, with the stars of the series later being shown the footage of what happened.

But Roxanne later stated that finding Jason made it ‘all worth it’, and said the incident on Celebrity Big Brother made her finally seek the therapy she needed.

"There’s an old saying that difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations. Well, it was worth every broken step that got me here and I thank God every moment that out of everyone in the whole world, I was led to you.

"You are my safest place and my greatest adventure. Thank you for choosing me."

"On our wedding day we celebrated our commitment to one another. A day I’ll truly remember as perfect in every way."

She also told Closer Magazine: "I think taking a step away from showbiz has been the biggest saving grace for me as it’s brought better people into my life and given me a healthier perspective on what’s important.”
