Roxanne Pallett is reportedly engaged to New York fire fighter Jason Carrion.
According to reports Jason popped the question to Roxanne after meeting her mum for the first time during a recent visit to the UK.
It was 'love at first sight' for the couple when they first met by chance in Brooklyn, New York.
They went for a coffee together after former Emmerdale star Roxanne, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother last year, stepped out of a taxi and appeared to be lost.
Roxanne revealed she was dating Jason, who appeared on the US version of the hit Channel Four reality show Married At First Sight, in August.
Loved-up Roxanne has been enjoying the sights of New York with her man and they recently travelled to Tennessee and visited the legendary Johnny Cash’s farmhouse.
The Rocky fan was also thrilled to run up the Rocky Steps in Philadelphia from the famous film.
The actress recently treated her man to a proper northern meal after arriving back in Manchester.
The pair tucked into a chippy tea washed down with a can of Vimto at Whittakers Fish Bar in Cheadle Hulme.
Roxanne shared a photo of the couple and their meal on her Instagram stories with the hashtag "Chippy Tea."
The couple also headed out on the town for a date night at swanky Chinese restaurant Tattu at Spinningfields.
Quoting Linda Ronstadt lyrics Roxanne wrote next to a photo of herself and Jason: “I never really knew how to love, I just hoped somehow I'd see.
"Asked for a little help from above. Send that angel down to me.
"Hey, I've looked all my life for you. And now you're here...”
And she quoted Emily Bronte to say: "He's more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.”
Roxanne split with her fiance Lee Walton after her turbulent time on Celebrity Big Brother last summer and appears to have been making a new start in the States with Jason.
Jason, who is also a model and a wrestler, has worked for The New York City Fire Department for five years.
In 2004 he appeared on Married At First Sight and he and Cortney Hendrix, his ex wife of five years, married as strangers.
The couple filed for divorce in February.
In June Roxanne revealed she had been diagnosed and treated for a complex form of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder after she falsely accused her CBB housemate Ryan Thomas of punching her on the Channel Five show and said she had been living like a virtual recluse.
Roxanne quit CBB and faced an unprecedented backlash in the aftermath.
She later apologised to Ryan, his family and friends and admitted she was "massively wrong."
Last month she appeared on Jeremy Vine on 5, a year since she last went on the debate show to speak about what had happened on CBB, and admitted she had considered taking her own life over the situation.
The guest panellist told Jeremy and her fellow guests that she doesn't recognise the person she was at that time.
"Looking back at those clips, it's awful," she said.
"It was a really awful time. I've hurt a lot of people and it's only now when I watch those back that I realise how far I've come and what a bad place I was in."
