Police and matrix vans surrounded a row of houses this evening.
A number of police vehicles were spotted outside the homes on the corner of Houghton Road and Upton Road, near Meadowside, just after 8.30pm on Wednesday, January 11. Two police matrix vans and one matrix car as well as a dog and a forensics unit were surrounding the street.
Officers were seen coming to and from a home on the road, which appeared to have the front door off its hinges.

It comes after police were on the same estate earlier today (January 11) as part of an ongoing investigation. Officers were seen on Home Farm Road at around 12pm.
When the ECHO attended the scene at around 1pm, residents said police had been there for a number of hours, with some people believing they had been there overnight.
Forensics appeared to be focusing their efforts on a house.
