Round Hill Music Royalty Fund Limited has increased its exposure to country and pop music with the acquisition of a significant share of the publishing rights of singer and songwriter Niko Moon.

The music fund’s purchase comprises 29 compositions, including songs performed by Zac Brown Band and Sir Rosevelt.

Josh Gruss, chairman and chief executive of Round Hill, the firm’s investment manager, said: "Niko is a much sought after songwriter and an acclaimed performer in his own right. We are delighted to have secured this superb catalogue, adding further timeless classics and number 1 hits to RHM’s portfolio.”

Niko Moon, signed to Sony Music Nashville/RCA Nashville, said: “I wanted these songs to go to an organization that values the music as much as I do, and Round Hill is definitely that place. "

Round Hill was founded in 2010 and is the owner and operator of music copyright properties.

It is headquartered in New York and also has offices in Nashville, Los Angeles and London.

Other deals the company inked in 2021 included acquiring recorded music income and publishing rights to 30 songs from Tim Palmer, an English record producer, guitarist and songwriter of rock and alternative music.
