Rothera Sharp in Nottingham grows transport team

Legal firm Rothera Sharp has expanded its transport law team with the appointment of solicitor Chris Powell and paralegals Jasmine Jackson and Beth Clayton.

The firm is based in Nottingham and has a 200 year old history in the field.

Chris said: "As a road transport solicitor, I am very excited to be working for a firm with such a strong and longstanding reputation for excellence in this area. 

"Rothera Sharp has decades of experience advising and representing transport businesses on regulatory road transport and compliance matters.

"I look forward to contributing to the team."

Paralegals Jasmine Jackson and Beth Clayton, will deal with motoring offence cases including giving initial legal advice, assisting with the preparation of court cases and liaising with the courts and clients.

Jasmine’s previous experience includes insurance and public risk cases and family law.

She is currently studying part-time for the LLM Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Trent University alongside her role.

Beth has previously worked in property law and medical negligence and as of September 2019 will also be undertaking her LLM Legal Practice Course in addition to her role within the department.
