Rotary helped spread Christmas cheer

Members of the Rotary Club of Whitburn recently provided some 500 packs of chocolate Christmas items to a range of charities which do sterling work in and around the Whitburn area.

Those who benefited were the Whitburn Foodbank, the Whitburn Community Fridge, the Salvation Army in Whitburn and the Community Hubs at Fauldhouse and Longridge.

Members said they hope that their actions will help bring some cheer into the lives of local families.

A spokesperson for the club said: “The Rotary Club wants to register its thanks to Morrisons Supermarket Livingston, Home Bargains Store Livingston and Aldi in Whitburn for their support in making this gesture possible.

“Rotarians are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others.”

Whitburn Rotary warmly welcomes new members.

Members meet on Tuesday evenings at the Fairway Hotel Bathgate at 7pm.
