Roster Moves: Titans waive NT Darius Kilgo

The Tennessee Titans have made use of the offseason to bolster the roster, but have also begun parting ways with players.

The most recent of these was nose tackle Darius Kilgo, who the Titans waived on Monday afternoon.

The Titans recently  signed Brent Urban and drafted Jeffery Simmons, leaving the defensive line crowded and with no room left for Kilgo.

The 27-year-old played in 11 games for the Titans in 2018, recording five tackles. He played 131 snaps on defense and 43 on special teams.

Kilgo was originally drafted by the Denver Broncos in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He appeared in 18 contests for Denver in his first two seasons, recording 11 tackles.

He has also made stops in with the Patriots, Jaguars and Texans, though he he never took the field for those teams.
