Ross Willetts named by police as man who died in motorbike crash

Police have released the name of a man who died in a motorbike crash.

Ross Willetts, 22, lost his life in a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the Drumenny Road, Cookstown ,during the early hours of Friday July 12.

SDLP MLA Patsy McGlone said: "I would like to extend my sincere sympathies to his family. It's an awful thing to lose a family member in such a tragedy."

PSNI Inspector Brown said: "The collision occurred on the Drumenny Road and involved a motorcycle.

"I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or has dash-cam footage that could help police with their enquiries to contact police at Cookstown on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 409 12/07/19.”
