Ross Tucker to replace Mike Mayock as color commentator for Eagles preseason games

The Oakland Raiders gain is a loss for Philadelpia Eagles and Notre Dame fans, who are going to miss the insight of Mike Mayock. Former NFL offensive lineman, Ross Tucker announced via Twitter, that he will join the Eagles’ broadcast booth for their four preseason games.

Tucker will replace Mayock, who left the NFL Network and NBC, to accept the Oakland Raiders GM job. Mayock has always provided quality insight into games, and it’ll be interesting to see just how good a fit that Tucker will be with Scott Graham in the television broadcast booth and Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro providing in-depth analysis and insight as part of the preseason television broadcast.

Tucker, an All-Ivy League offensive lineman at Princeton University, played seven seasons in the National Football League before retiring after suffering a neck injury during the 2007 season. Tucker has worked for NBC Sports Network, Westwood One, Sirius XM NFL Radio and currently hosts the Ross Tucker Football Podcast distributed through PodcastOne.
