Ross Moriarty turned up at his best friend's wedding hours after devastating Six Nations loss to France

Welsh International Ross Moriarty turned up at his best friend's wedding just hours after Wales' devastating Six Nations loss to France in Cardiff on Saturday.

Guests had a shock when the Wales and Dragons star walked through the door straight after battling it out with France in a tense Six Nations clash with France.

The flanker ducked out of the post match commiserations following their defeat 27-23 to France, a loss that will inevitably be a direct hit to their Six Nations title hopes.

Despite the disappointing result, the 25-year-old was one of the more impressive Welsh players on the field - consistently tackling hard and finishing the game with a thunderous run down the wing.

Unfortunately it was not enough for the Welsh squad, who lost to the French at The Principality Stadium for the first time since 2010.

Wearing a navy suit with the Welsh three feathers emblem stitched onto the pocket, he posted a picture with the newlyweds on Instagram.

He captioned it with: "Tough loss earlier but happy to get down to one of my best mates weddings afterwards.

"Congrats Steff Thomas and Sarah Langley" and tagged the bridge and groom.
