Ross Kemp didn't seem overly impressed on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain as Adil Ray quizzed him about EastEnders.
The 56-year-old star appeared on the ITV show via video link to encourage the public to raise a glass to thank the volunteers during the pandemic at 5pm on July 4.
Ross told hosts Ranvir Singh and Adil Ray that it aims to be the UK’s biggest ever thank you party.
As the interview came to an end, Adil was keen to ask Ross if he would ever be returning to acting - more specifically his role as Grant Mitchell in EastEnders.
"It’s been amazing watching your career, fantastic documentaries," Adil began.

"I want to ask you though, bit similar to my career, I did a bit of presenting and also acting, but I haven’t seen you act for a while, have you put that on the back burner? Are you looking at scripts? Could we see you on our screen acting again very soon?"
Ross bluntly replied: "All I will say you know, I’ve got a mortgage to pay like everybody else... so whatever comes my way."

But Adil decided to probe further and asked: "So you could be back on Albert Square, if it's the right script, the right role? Who knows..."
"Who knows, that's not my decision, that's somebody else's I have to say," Ross replied, not looking overly enthused.
Ross made his first appearance as Grant in EastEnders back in 1990 and stayed in the role for nine years.
He has since returned briefly on two occasions, once in 2005 and again in 2016.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
