Goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons says anyone questioning Notts County's passion for the cause need look no further than Saturday's heroic second half defending.
The 24-year-old's teammates made several crucial goalmouth interventions to stop Northampton Town denting their survival hopes.
Neal Ardley's side were forced to play just under half the game with 10 men after Huddersfield Town loanee Ryan Schofield was shown a straight red card for a foul on Daniel Powell.
However, Kane Hemmings, Richard Duffy, Sam Stubbs, Jim O'Brien and Michael Doyle all made vital blocks during the second half to keep out the Cobblers and claim what could prove to be an important point come the end of the season.

"Given the circumstances, it is hard enough anyway having a man sent off, let alone against a strong and physical side like Northampton," said Fitzsimons.
"Almost straightaway the ball was back in their court and it was always going to be wave after wave of attacks.
"There was one occasion where they span it around from the corner and I have made a block and then there have been three or four blocks after that.
"You could see the passion in the team. You can see the drive and the hunger still. It is really massive at the moment.
"You could see the passion in the lads, it was liked we had scored a goal.
"If that goes in we don't get the points that we should have and it just flips the table on its head.
"I am really happy that we got the point here."
