Ross County v Motherwell: Graham Alexander makes two changes with Chris Long handed start

Motherwell manager Graham Alexander has made two changes for tonight's crucial match against Ross County.

Liam Polworth is suspended after being sent off against Aberdeen and is replaced by Barry Maguire while Chris Long replaces Sherwin Seedorf who drops to the bench after the 2-0 weekend defeat at Pittodrie.

Steven Lawless is back on the bench after recovering from a slight knock and is joined by fellow new signing Harry Smith

The 49 year-old manager names the same defence for the fourth consecutive time since taking charge after Stephen Robinson's departure.

Meanwhile, John Hughes makes two changes in his starting lineup from the heavy 5-0 defeat to Rangers at the weekend.

Former Motherwell winger Jermaine Hylton replaces Charlie Lakin and Regan Charles-Cook comes in for Connoe Randall.

Motherwell would overtake Ross County into 10th position with a win tonight in a crucial match in their relegation battle.
