Ross County v Celtic: Referee Bobby Madden 'stood down' for top flight clash

Referee Bobby Madden has been 'stood down' for tonight's Premiership clash between Ross County and Celtic.

The East Kilbride whistler was set to be the man in the middle for the clash in Dingwall, but David Munro has been promoted from fourth official for the live televised clash.

Billy Baxter has been drafted in as fourth official, with Alan Mulvanny and John McCrossan running the touchlines as assistants.

Neil Lennon's side will hope to keep pressure on Rangers at the top of the league, while John Hughes's Staggies will be looking to climb off the foot of the table and overtake Hamilton Accies.

Reasons for Madden's withdrawal have yet to be confirmed.

Tonight's match kicks off at 7.30pm.
