N'Golo Kante out, shock midfielder starter - Predicted Chelsea XI to face Newcastle

After an impressive win over Burnley, Chelsea make the long trip to take on Newcastle United in the Premier League.

The Blues are secure inside the top four right now, and with Manchester United taking on Liverpool, that gap could widen with a win.

For the first time since 2013, the Blues didn't make a single substitution in their previous match, but Lampard could well give the same team another start.

Everyone came through the game well, and with a decent performance against a defensive team, Lampard could opt for a repeat showing.

That would mean Ross Barkley has another start in the middle of the park next to Jorginho and Mason Mount.

Meanwhile, Reece James was excellent in the win over the Clarets, and he should get another chance to show his skills on the right.

Andreas Christensen started in the middle of defence next to Antonio Rudiger, and both looked solid in the win.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is coming off the back of two goals in back-to-back matches, and should get another

The only issue would be whether or not Lampard might look to shake things up with Arsenal the visitors to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening.

Predicted Chelsea team: Kepa; James, Christensen, Rudiger, Azpilicueta; Barkley, Jorginho, Mount; Hudson-Odoi, Abraham, Willian.
