A body has been found in the search for missing woman Rosie Johnson who at the weekend.
The 22-year-old, from Glasgow, disappeared from the Little Canada PGL Adventure Park in Wootton, where she is employed, on Sunday evening.
Now detectives say they have recovered a body - believed to be Rosie's - after a huge search was launched to locate the missing activities instructor.
Hampshire Constabulary revealed that following this afternoon's discovery they are treating her death as 'non-suspicious'.
Police, HM Coastguard and other local volunteers were involved in the three-day search operation which began on Tuesday.
The search focused on the area of Firestone Copse, close to Little Canada PGL where Rosie was last seen, Isle of Wight Radio reported.
A police spokeswoman said: "Officers searching for missing Rosie Johnson on the Isle of Wight have found a body of a woman in Wootton this afternoon.
"Formal identification procedures are ongoing but Rosie's next of kin have been made aware of the discovery.
"At this stage, the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
Her family travelled down from Scotland on Tuesday evening and have been kept informed about developments in the search.
Her mobile phone last 'pinged' in an area just south of the adventure park, the report added.
Local residents were shown a photo of Rosie, a former University of Glasgow student.
The National Police Air Service Helicopter was also assisting in the search this week.
It conducted an aerial sweep of woodland between Fishbourne and Wootton.
Her father told the Daily Mail that her disappearance was "totally out of character."
Rosie's uncle Daniel Johnson, a Labour MSP for Edinburgh Southern, who wrote on Twitter : 'My niece, Rosie, is missing. Could anyone with information please contact the police'.
Detectives said they believed that Rosie was 'not the victim of crime' but admitted he was 'seriously concerned' for her welfare.
Inspector Andy MacDonald said yesterday: “We have serious concerns for Rosie’s welfare.
"Information suggests she is still on the island so this is where we are focussing our search. However, we would ask anyone with any information about her whereabouts to contact us as soon as possible”.
Inspector MacDonald revealed search and rescue specialists hoping to find Miss Johnson scoured the entire grounds of activities site Little Canada - including every children's cabin.
Little Canada's website says it is 'set in over 48 acres of ancient woodland between the towns of Ryde and Newport on the Isle of Wight and is situated along the tidal waters of Wootton Creek'.
The website states field studies instructors 'work with a group of up to 12 children or teenagers, taking sole responsibility for their field studies sessions'.
