Rosen doubles Aberdeen office footprint and hires two more staff

Rosen Group has expanded its Aberdeen-based integrity consultancy by doubling its footprint in the city and growing its local headcount.

The company, which initially opened its Aberdeen office in 2018, has taken on additional ground floor office space at Citibase on Queen’s Road.

Rosen’s team in Aberdeen advises on pipeline integrity, asset life extension, corrosion management and subsea design engineering for North Sea operators on and offshore, and is supported by multi-discipline teams in Edinburgh, Newcastle and six global locations.

The office expansion comes as Rosen’s Aberdeen team continues to grow with the addition of Peter Furness, a multi-disciplinary senior engineer with more than 20 years’ experience, and Nicol Bradford, a subsea engineer with more than three decades of operator experience.

Bryn Roberts, technical engineering manager in Aberdeen, said: “Since opening our doors in 2018, we’ve built up a skillset that’s unrivalled in the city, via a carefully crafted team, and that’s been reflected in the work that we undertake for operators in the North Sea.

“This expansion comes at a very busy period for Rosen in Aberdeen,” he continued. “Despite the challenges that we all faced in 2020, a steady workload has meant a busy year during which we have been approached to solve some particularly challenging integrity issues for operators.

“Currently, we’re on track to do even better this year and with the addition of Nicol and Peter, we’ve continued to expand our expertise and services.”

Privately owned, the company comprises approximately 3,000 personnel, operating in more than 120 countries.

Rosen’s products and services include inspection of critical industrial assets, customised engineering consultancy providing efficient asset integrity management, production and supply of customised novel systems and products.
