Sara Gilbert is separating from wife Linda Perry, lead singer with 4 Non Blondes, after nearly six years of marriage.
The 44-year-old former star of US sitcom Roseanne reportedly filed the documents in Los Angeles on Friday with TMZ adding that the date of separation as August 13.
The paperwork is for a legal separation with minor children.
The couple married in March 2014 and share four-year-old son Rhodes Emilio Gilbert Perry together.
Sara is also a mum to 15-year-old son Levi, and 12-year-old daughter Sawyer, who she shares with TV producer Allison Adler.
She split from her in August 2011 after a 10-year relationship.
Sara was one of the original panel members of CBS show, The Talk, which is a US version of Loose Women.
She announced in early April that she’s leaving the show after nine seasons, in order to focus on other creative endeavors and to spend more time with her family.
Sara had recently appeared in the spin-off to Roseanne, titled Conners, and is due to appear in the second series of the sitcom, which has been made without Roseanne Barr being involved.
When the CBS daytime talk show returns for a 10th season in September, it will feature Marie Osmond as a replacement for Sara.
