Rosanna Davison has told how her beloved granny is “beyond excited” that there is a little baby girl on the way.
The former Miss World, 35, revealed last week that she and her husband Wes Quirke are expecting their first child together via a surrogate, while bravely opening up about suffering a number of miscarriages in the past.
Rosanna said on Instagram: “Last week, we visited my grandmother to tell her that she has a great-granddaughter on the way.
“It’s something we’d been dreaming of doing for a long time & it was a very special day. She’s beyond excited! Had a little celebration too! #family.”
The Dublin model and author, who is the daughter of crooner Chris de Burgh, also posted a photo of her 92-year-old granny being shown a picture of their baby scan.

Rosanna also posted some videos of the baby outfits she has already been given by friends and family including Bear Cub and Liverpool FC baby grows.
