Rosanna Davison won’t be putting any pressure on herself to snap back into shape too quickly after she gives birth to her miracle twin boys this month.
The former Miss World said she is bursting out of her maternity clothes as her highly-anticipated arrivals currently weigh almost 10lbs combined.
Rosanna, 36, told Dublin Live: “I’ve focused on staying healthy, strong and fit throughout my pregnancy with regular prenatal training sessions and my focus is on making sure my babies are healthy.
“My doctor has been encouraging me to exercise and there are numerous benefits.
“I find it great for feeling strong, energised and mentally focused.
“Anyone I’ve said it to either online or in the real world has been very supportive and I’ve heard from lots of other women that staying fit helped their delivery and recovery.
“I really don’t know what to expect postpartum but I’ll be enjoying the bonding time with our new arrivals and I’m determined not to put myself under lots of pressure to get back to normal again too quickly.”
The model turned nutrition expert, who welcomed her first baby girl Sophia through surrogacy last November, added: “I’ve been really trying to look after myself in pregnancy by eating well, keeping fit and getting plenty of sleep and rest so that all definitely helps.
“I also feel better with a tan, so I apply the new TanOrganic Self Tan Dark Mousse once a week for a golden glow, and I make sure to moisturise my skin well daily as it’s become more dry and sensitive in pregnancy.”
It’s set to be a busy few weeks for Rosanna and her hubby Wes Quirke as they are set to celebrate Sophia’s first birthday just days before she is due to give birth to the twins.
But counting down the minutes until they become parents of three, she told how grateful she was to have felt so good along the way.
Keeping her 240,000 followers up to date with her journey on social media, Rosanna joked she is bursting at the seams as her bump continues to grow.
She said: “Even my maternity clothes are ready to burst. They are a combined weight now of 9.5lbs.”
