Irish beauty Rosanna Davison went on Instagram earlier this week to post an adorable snap of daughter Sophia Rose as she turned two weeks old.
The former Miss World and husband Wes Quirke announced they were expecting a baby girl via a surrogate four months ago.
Rosanna and Wes received huge praise for documenting their surrogacy journey on social media and it seems the journey home to Ireland with their new born is well underway - just in time for Christmas.
Taking to her social media, the 35-year-old posted an adorable snap showing her cradling baby Sophia.
She wrote: "Two weeks old today. Time flies when you’re in a baby bubble & totally lose track of the days!
"Hoping to get Sophia home over the weekend so she can meet the rest of her family & get ready for her first Christmas."
Just over two weeks ago the model and nutritionist posted a joyful message and photograph on her social-media platform, saying: “And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true."
Their “beautiful and healthy daughter” was born at 11.57am, weighing 6lb 8oz.
The Wicklow native spoke to RSVP Live shortly before becoming a mum, revealing that she and Wes decided on the name Sophia ahead of the birth because they had to officially submit their choice as part of the paperwork for the surrogacy.
She told RSVP Live: "We had an idea of names for girls and boys at the beginning of the year and we kind of knew what we wanted to go for."
"It is nice though, we have been using her name while chatting to each other but we have be careful around my Mum because she doesn’t want to know until she is born.
"It makes it so much more real and it is like she is already there with us."
