Rosanna Davison issues labour update as she shares adorable message for baby daughter Sophia

Rosanna Davison has reassured her friends she’s “not in labour”, but is resting in bed as she edges closer to her due date.

The former Miss World, 36, is set to welcome twin boys any day now, and previously said that she thought the babies might make an early appearance.

But as friends and fans started questioning whether she had already gone into labour this week, Rosanna said she now thinks her babies are happy to stay inside for a little longer.

Filming from her bed, Rosanna said: “To my friends looking for daily updates so that they know I’m not in labour, not in hospital, not popping out babies – this is for you.”

“Not in labour, I’m still hanging in there, but I am in bed because I’m knackered.”

Meanwhile, celebrating another major milestone this week, Rosanna looked back to this time last year when she and hubby Wes Quirke made the journey to Kiev ahead of their daughter Sophia’s birth, via gestational surrogate.

The model turned nutrition expert said: “11/11. This day last year, we flew to Kiev for our daughter Sophia’s birth on 21/11 (she’s about a week old in this pic) and this day two years ago, we signed the surrogacy contracts to officially begin #oursurrogacyjourney.

“It had crossed my mind that her twin brothers might make an early appearance and make this date even more significant for us, but they seem to be cosy where they are for now and I’m very happy to continue fattening them up for another week or two.”

The daughter of musician Chris de Burgh lifted spirits nationwide earlier this summer when she announced her ‘miracle’ pregnancy with the identical twin boys after opening up about her long and heartbreaking road to motherhood.

The news came almost eight months after Rosanna announced the arrival of baby Sophia via gestational surrogate last year after she sadly suffered 14 miscarriages.
