Rory McIlroy broke out a Kyle Lowry jersey to celebrate his Canadian Open win

Rory McIlroy knows how to play to the crowd.

Competing in the Canadian Open at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club, McIlroy put together a dominant performance. He shot a 61 in Sunday’s final round and won the tournament by seven strokes.

When it came time to celebrate his 16th PGA win, McIlroy got the Ontario crowd on his side in a big way.

He broke out a Kyle Lowry Toronto Raptors jersey. With the Raptors one win away from their first NBA title, the golf fans in Hamilton certainly appreciated McIlroy’s support.

This was the scene after the tournament was won.

The Raptors Twitter account took notice too.

McIlroy will head into the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach with plenty of momentum on his side as Brooks Koepka looks for his third straight U.S. Open title.
