Roquan Smith shares how he’ll deal with emotions after AFC Championship loss vs. Chiefs

The Baltimore Ravens suffered a 17-10 defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship, ending their year. Baltimore fought hard, but there were too many mistakes made throughout the contest to overcome, resulting in the loss.

“I don’t think there’s a proper way to deal with whatever emotions you’re dealing with, because every human being is different like you’re different from me and everyone else. We’re one in a trillion or something like that [of] the chances of being a human. When you think about it from that perspective, everyone’s mindset is different. I know, personally, it definitely sucks. It sucks coming in [the media room], too. [I’m] definitely wishing the results were a lot different. At the end of the day, it is what it is. It’s not about what happens to you in life. It’s about more so how you respond. I think that’s just what each and every individual has to ask themselves and tell themselves and will answer to themselves.”

When asked about how he’ll deal with the emotions following the let down, Ravens inside linebacker Roquan Smith said that there’s not a proper way to deal with them, since everyone is different. However, he mentioned that it’s about how you respond to situations like these, something that could define next year for the team.
