Sydney Roosters have consolidated their place in the top eight with a dour 6-0 win over Canterbury Bulldogs at the Olympic stadium.
Both sides left their attacking boots at home — the biggest highlight came early, as Latrell Mitchell showed his ability to cut through the Bulldogs' defence in the fourth minute for the only score of the game.
The Bulldogs opted a safety-first approach, completing 81 per cent of their sets but rarely threatening to score.
The Roosters made more errors, but their one score was enough to give them their fourth win of the season.
