The first trailer for the final film in the Hunger Games franchise has arrived, giving fans a look at Jennifer Lawrence’s attack on the Capitol.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is the second part of the third book which will make the fourth film in the series which has made over $2.3bn. The dystopian thriller sees Lawrence’s game-playing heroine Katniss Everdeen declare war on President Snow, played by an increasingly campy Donald Sutherland.
She’s joined by Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks and Philip Seymour Hoffman. The returning cast will also be joined by Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie.
Lawrence is rumoured to be reuniting with director Francis Lawrence for The Dive, where she will play a doomed real-life freediver. After the release of Mockingjay Part 2, she will be seen in David O. Russell’s Oscar-tipped comedy Joy, a biopic of the woman who invented the Miracle Mop.
