Rookie WR Kelvin Harmon predicted to be a gem for the Redskins

If there is one rookie on the Washington Redskins whose name you already know, it’s Dwayne Haskins.

If there’s one rookie on the team whose name you should know, its Kelvin Harmon.

The young wide receiver has been largely overshadowed so far this offseason, with the buzz largely surrounding an intriguing QB battle and a monster on defense throughout the OTAs.

Don’t let that deter you from the fact that Washington now has 6’2″ 220-pound receiver spread out wide to pair with whoever happens to be throwing passes. He also was drafted in the sixth round of the 2019 Draft, despite receiving a second-round grade according to multiple draft scouts.

Coming into the 2019 season, the production at the QB position will obviously take the main stage, but it is largely important for the Redskins to be successful at the WR position as well — that’s where Harmon comes in.

Bleacher Report has predicted that Harmon is going to be the biggest rookie gem in Washington this season, and he has a chance to help bolster the stats of the Redskins quarterback.

The Redskins are lacking at the receiver position, with Josh Doctson and Paul Richardson Jr. at the top of the depth chart. With new faces like Harmon and fellow rookie WR Terry McLaurin, the two young guns can make waves.
