Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse will celebrate its first anniversary with The Surawongse Festival on its rooftop this weekend from 5pm to 10pm.
Under the theme "Backyard Party", the two days of fun and frolicking will showcase an eclectic mix of music, food and arts and crafts.
Hotel guests, locals and other visitors are invited to the elegant al fresco venue. Stroll around the artisan stalls featuring everything from handmade soaps to local jewellery, leather goods, Thai fabrics and more. Then simply sit back, chill out and soak up the enchanting garden atmosphere, with fairy lights and low-slung seating, as you are serenaded by various live music performances.
Hotel delicacies will be served, including barbecued meats, burgers, hot dogs, popcorn and curries from the four corners of Thailand, plus a selection of delectable desserts.
Children will be kept entertained with a series of kids' activities, including face painting and balloon art. There will also be a lucky draw with fabulous prizes up for grabs.
