A rooftop bar and restaurant popular with football players has reopened today for delivery and takeaway.
14 Bar and Grill on Trinity Road in Bootle, which is known for its panoramic views, closed its doors 10 weeks ago following the government’s orders for bars and restaurants to close due to coronavirus.
The restaurant, which is a favourite of Jamie Carragher and DJ Ian Longo, sits on the fourteenth floor of the Daniel House apart-hotel and owners say the rooftop offers 'the best view of Liverpool’s skyline'.
The team at 14 Bar and Grill has spent the last few weeks planning the reopening, conducting controlled tests to explore the safest way to do so.
The restaurant is open today, May 28, from 4pm with a menu featuring sweet pizza boxes, with more to come each week.

A spokesperson for 14 Bar and Grill said: “We’ve spent the last 10 weeks meticulously planning the very best dishes to serve our fabulous customers.
“There is a real demand for classy dishes and deserts which is why we’ve introduced the sweet pizza boxes and we will think it will be a huge success.”
