Ronnie O’Sullivan has taken a shot at Wishaw rival John Higgins - branding the Lanarkshire favourite "an underachiever."
O'Sullivan has won just six more ranking titles than Wishaw Wizard Higgins, but the five-time world champion unleashed a scathing rank on the top Scot.
“I’ve always thought John has underachieved during his career. I’ve always loved the way Higgins plays, I just think ‘wow’.
"But for someone with his game, his temperament, his bottle, it’s surprising he’s not won more.
"The people that know snooker definitely appreciate him, but the people that don’t know snooker don’t appreciate time.
"But John’s game is built for Sheffield [at the World Championship], his game is suited to winning there.”
