Ronnie Harrison ‘ready to get to work’ in Cleveland

New Cleveland Browns safety Ronnie Harrison wasn’t able to join his new teammates at FirstEnergy Field for Friday night’s scrimmage session. Acquired in a surprise trade on Thursday for a 2021 fifth-round pick, Harrison still has to clear COVID-19 protocols before he can officially put on pads.

Even so, Harrison is ready to get to work with the Browns.

In a post on his Instagram, Harrison thanked Jacksonville for his two years there as a starting safety after being the Jaguars’ third-round pick in 2018 out of Alabama. He quickly spun it forward to Cleveland, noting in the comment,

“There’s been a lot on my mind and A Lot I Wanna Say, But I’ll let my play do the talking. #DawgPound Y’all Just Got A Killa 💯✊🏿🔥 Lets Get This Ring ‼️”

Harrison is expected to help fill the void created when second-round rookie Grant Delpit tore his Achilles in practice last week.
