March 06--Seems everyone is coming up with dream fight scenarios for UFC sensation Ronda Rousey ever since her 14-second dismantling of bantamweight challenger Cat Zingano on Saturday.
And it also seems many of those scenarios involve her fighting men, like maybe men's champion T.J. Dillashaw, any of the other UFC bantamweights or even undefeated boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr.
But Rousey says it's not going to happen.
"It's not a reality," Rousey told CBS Sports' Doug Gottlieb on Thursday. "They're not gonna do anything like that. Fights are chaotic. Anything can happen. And there's no setting in which we should condone a man hitting a woman."
She added: "I really just don't think that any athletic commission on Earth would ever condone something like that. Fights are going to go both ways. You're going to see both people hitting each other. I don't think we should celebrate a man hitting a woman in any kind of setting."
But, just so we're all clear, Rousey had this to say Thursday on ESPN when asked about her chances against the male bantamweight UFC fighters:
"I never say that I'm incapable of beating anybody, because I don't believe in putting limits on myself. So I mean, I would have to say if you're just talking about what's in the realm of possibility of what's possible of who I could beat, well I could beat 100% of them. You can't tell me that there's a 0% chance that I can beat anyone on the planet, so I'm never gonna say that."
