Ronda Rousey, the former WWE Raw women’s champion who was pinned by Becky Lynch in a controversial ending for the historic main event at WrestleMania 35, is taking a break from wrestling.
Because she wants to work on starting a family with her husband, UFC heavyweight fighter Travis Brown.
Rousey blasted a report by David Meltzer back in January that said she would be taking a break after WrestleMania. Rousey told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne at the time:
“I honestly don’t know why [anyone] feels [they’re] an authority to speak on plans for my uterus. It’s my vagina, my life, keep the speculations to yourself. Leave me and my reproductive organs alone.”
Well, now she is taking that break to start a family, according to a source of Shelburne’s as well as this Instagram photo of Rousey and her husband kissing with the hashtag #impregnationvacation:
So there you go. We wish ’em well.
