Ronda Rousey and husband Travis Browne welcomed their first child on Monday, and have named her La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne.
Rousey, a legendary bantamweight champion who more recently made her name in the WWE, has taken time away from her athletic career to focus on motherhood.
And Browne, who was once a top contender in the UFC's heavyweight division before retiring in 2018, is from Honolulu, Hawaii, likely playing a big part in the naming of their first daughter.
Rousey and Browne started dating in 2015, and married in April 2017 after Rousey had retired from the sport, and was in training for her professional wrestling debut.
But Rousey has allowed herself to fade slightly from the spotlight in recent months after becoming pregnant earlier this year.
The name La’akea means "sacred light" when loosely translated, while Makalapuaokalanipō is a more traditional name without a direct English translation.
The pair shared identical Instagram posts announcing the birth of their daughter with the message "Welcome to this world La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne. You are so incredibly loved!"
Rousey was one of the biggest stars in combat sports while she competed, and went undefeated in her first twelve fights after swapping Judo for MMA after the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
She was champion in Strike Force before the UFC allowed women to fight, and when promotional boss Dana White finally allowed females to compete, she was the inaugural champion.
During her iconic career she defeated Miesha Tate twice, Liz Carmouche and Bethe Correira, before finally losing to Holly Holm in November of 2015 in Melbourne.
At the time, she was becoming a crossover star, booking acting roles in Fast and Furious 7, Entourage and more, but decided to take time out in preparation for her comeback fight later that year.
In the meantime, Holly Holm lost her title to Tate, who would then immediately drop the belt against Amanda Nunes, who ended up being Rousey's return opponent.

Rousey unfortunately couldn't launch a successful comeback, being brutally stopped in the opening exchanges by Nunes, who has gone on to become pound-for-pound one of the best fighters in the world.
She then switched to WWE, where she became a part of the first all-female main event in Wrestlemania history and held the world title.
Browne is also a former fighter, having once earned a top ranking in the UFC before retiring on a four-fight losing streak in 2017.
He held famous wins over the likes of Brendan Schaub as well as former world champions Alistair Overeem and Josh Barnett.
But he lost his last four fights to Cain Velasquez, Fabricio Werdum, Derrick Lewis and Aleksei Oleinik, two of which were brutal knockouts.
He now works on the couple's farm Browsey Acres and hosts a podcast called the "Tough Business podcast", while Rousey streams playing video games.
