Ronda Rousey blasts WWE fans and blames them for Bray Wyatt getting fired

Ronda Rousey has blasted WWE fans for the release of Bray Wyatt - and even blames them for it.

The former Raw women’s champion weighed in on the news, which has not gone down well with large groups of fans within the WWE Universe.

The ex UFC star, who has not appeared inside the squared circle since losing her title to Becky Lynch in the main event of WrestleMania 35 in 2019, called supporters hypocritical and labelled them “ungrateful idiots.”

After chants of “We Want Wyatt” echoed around the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL Monday Night Raw, Rousey tweeted: “I’ve seen you same 'fans' chanting #WeWantWyatt last night chanting 'We want beach balls' over @WWEBrayWyatt performing.

“If the @wwe treated him like he was expendable it was because you ungrateful idiots did first.”

Some aggrieved fans hit back at Rousey as one fumed: “Wow. What a crap take. First, we didn’t book him to lose in HIAC; to Goldberg; or in his inferno match.

"Second, we just got out of the silent arena era…to complain about any fan response is idiotic. I love Bray/Windham & can’t wait to see him soon. But, wow this was dumb.”

While another snapped: “The fans don't book the matches, Ronda. Wyatt was very over with the fans. I have no idea what you're talking about.”

WWE fans have never been afraid to voice how they feel about the superstars and Ronda was no different during her time in the company which saw her dominate the Raw Women's division for over a year.

Wyatt’s last appearance came at WrestleMania 37 back in April, when he was defeated by Randy Orton in a lacklustre match.

His alter-ego of ‘The Fiend’ was one of WWE’s most intriguing characters and after the gimmick's promising debut and first few months, things began to go downhill.

Despite winning the Universal championship from Seth Rollins in late 2019, he would lose the belt to WCW legend Goldberg at Saudi Arabia’s Super Showdown in February 2020.

Two months later he would regain some momentum after defeating John Cena in the unique firefly funhouse match at WrestleMania 36.

However, he would lose a Universal title program with Braun Strowman during that summer, before his final program with Randy Orton which saw him burned alive in gruesome scenes at the back end of last year.

Will Wyatt reappear in WWE in the future? Or will he pop in another promotion?
