Ronan Keating says daughter Missy has been approached to appear in reality shows

Ronan Keating has confirmed that his daughter Missy has been approached to appear in a number of reality TV shows.

It was rumoured that the Dublin-born beauty is a favourite to be announced in the next Love Island line-up.

And speaking today about the possibility of the teen appearing on the ITV show in the near future, proud dad Ronan hinted that she has received many offers to take to the sceen.

Speaking on ITV’s Martin and Roman’s Sunday Best, Ronan, who recently welcomed his youngest child with wife Storm, said he had five children between the ages of 21 and four months old.

Using the opportunity to address the speculation, Martin asked: “So you’re alright for a bit of baby sitting apart from Missy... I don’t know if this is true or not, but is she going on Love Island?”

Lifting the lid on the rumours, whilst remaining coy, the experienced pop star, 43, told how his 19-year-old daughter has been ‘getting a lot of offers’ from reality shows.

The dad-of-five, who who shares three children, Jack, 21, Missy, 19, and Ali, 14 with his ex-wife Yvonne Connolly said: "Well, look she’s getting a lot of offers from different reality TV shows to do different things.

“She’s a very confident girl."

Martin quipped back: "Confident? She’s beautiful!"

Ronan, who also has two children, Cooper and Coco, with his wife Storm went on to add: "She’s beautiful, she’s got her head on her shoulders, she’s very, very… she’s a grafter."

The Boyzone star added: “I mean, my dad taught all of his kids to be the grafter and work hard.

“He believed the football player that trained the hardest got his game on Sunday and that’s something that was instilled in me and I think my kids have that now and it’s just amazing.”

It comes after Missy was tipped to appear on Love Island for the next series as leading bookmaker Ladbrokes said the young model “ticks all the boxes”.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “Missy Keating ticks all the boxes for Love Island and if the show makes a return, we reckon there’s a strong chance she will make the line-up.”

But Missy isn’t the only celeb’s daughter rumoured to go on the reality show.

It was also reported earlier this year that Brian McFadden and Kerry Katona’s daughter Molly has applied for the show.
