Ronan Keating's son Jack announces birth of first child in heartwarming post

Ronan Keating's son Jack, who appeared on ITV's Love Island last summer, has announced the birth of his first child in a heartwarming post.

The reality TV star, 23 introduced the new arrival to his 50,000 fans on Instagram on Thursday evening (March 9), with a black and white photo of him cradling the newborn.

Jack, who appeared in Casa Amor on the ITV2 show last summer, wrote in the caption that accompanied the photo: "Welcome to the world my little [princess emoji]".

The post was met with messages of congratulations and comments from loved ones and friends, including from Jack's parents; singer-songwriter Ronan and model Yvonne.

His dad Ronan, best known for having been in group Boyzone, wrote: "Little cutie" along with a red heart emoji as mum Yvonne also commenting: "I miss her so much already".

A host of reality TV stars also responded to Jack's post on the platform earlier, including some of his former co-stars from the eighth series of Love Island, which aired last year.

They included finalist Paige Thorne, 25, who wrote: "Congratulations hunny". Whilst former co-star Deji Adeniyi, 26, commented: "Congratulations brother".

Danica Taylor, 21, said: "Congratulations babe". Mollie Salmon, 24, wrote: "Congratulations Jack. You'll be the best Dad". Whilst Chyna Mills, 24, said: "Congratulations Jack".
