It was yet another disappointing day for Manchester United as they once again took the lead in a match but didn't come away the winners.
Saturday's draw with Southampton was the third successive game in which that has happened following the FA Cup elimination to Middlesbrough and Wednesday's stalemate with Burnley, all three of which ended 1-1.
This time around it was Jadon Sancho, who has been the one bright spark in recent weeks, who gave United the lead as he tapped in Marcus Rashford's cross to finish off a sweeping counter-attack in the first half.
But United were once more caught napping just after the break and the Saints deservedly equalised through a lovely Che Adams finish.
Ralf Rangnick's side pressed for a winner but it was again elusive and now his side have dropped yet more points in the top-four race.
Here are six moments you may have missed in the match.
Evra in the house
United great Patrice Evra was in attendance to watch the match on Saturday.
He was around the changing rooms prior to kick-off meeting the United squad as they arrived and offering his support for the game.
Dalot relationship with the crowd
Ahead of kick-off, the ever-improving Diogo Dalot did his best to get Old Trafford rocking.
He sprinted over to the fans, applauded them and whipped them up, which was responded to in kind by those in the terraces.
As Dalot continues to make the right-back spot his own, he is also developing a good rapport with match goers.
Pogba and Fernandes chat
Towards the end of the first half, Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes were spotted having a lengthy, constructive conversation that grew a little animated.
The Frenchman's international teammate Raphael Varane then suggested to him that he calmed down a tad.
It was another promising display from Pogba, who has been good in the middle of the park since his return from injury.
Ronaldo reaction
United were once again unable to keep hold of their lead and Cristiano Ronaldo was not happy about it at all.
The Portuguese was back in the starting XI after being dropped against Burnley but looked void of confidence.
After Adams tucked away his excellent goal, Ronaldo was captured by BT Sport cameras and wore a look of frustrations and anger upon his face. Compatriot Fernandes did not look best pleased either.
Fans make their desire clear
As the clock ticked down on yet more dropped points, the boisterous Old Trafford crowd made it clear what they wanted.
A chant of 'Attack, attack, attack' began to rain down from the terraces as fans tried to spur the team on to find a winner.
It wouldn't come to pass, however, with the Saints preventing many clear-cut opportunities and, when they did present themselves, Fraser Forster was on hand to make some fantastic saves.
Maguire gets lucky
Southampton weren't pinned back, however, and were also looking for the clincher towards the end.
Striker Armando Broja had been a constant thorn in the United back-line all game and looked dangerous in the 87th minute.
He received the ball towards the touchline and with an elegant flick turned Harry Maguire inside out before advancing into the box. Broja then turned back on himself which allowed Maguire to catch up but he was fortunate not to give away a penalty.
Not only did he appear to barge Broja over without touching the ball, he then accidentally stamped on the Albanian's calf as he went to chase it afterwards.
There was no punishment given and the captain certainly got away with one.
